Terms & Conditions
1. Who we are
"Digitaljunkys", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Digitaljunkys Consulting Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales. Contact via the form at digitaljunkys.com/#contact.
2. Scope
These Terms govern your purchase and use of any WooCommerce plugin licence ("the Software") sold via this website. By purchasing, downloading, or activating the Software you accept these Terms.
3. Vanilla-WooCommerce assumption (important)
Our plugins are designed, tested, and supported against a standard installation of WooCommerce on a standard installation of WordPress. By "standard" we mean:
- An unmodified, currently-supported version of WordPress (6.0 or later unless the plugin's
readme.txtsays otherwise). - An unmodified, currently-supported version of WooCommerce (8.0 or later unless the plugin's
readme.txtsays otherwise). - No custom theme or third-party plugin that overrides WooCommerce's stock, order, product, payment, checkout, or email APIs.
- No direct database writes that bypass the WooCommerce API for product, order, or stock data.
If your site does any of the above — common on bespoke or heavily-customised stores — our plugins may behave unexpectedly. We are not warranted to work on, and cannot guarantee support for, non-standard WooCommerce installations. We recommend you test every plugin on a staging site before activating it in production.
4. What you're buying
You are buying a licence to use the Software on the number of sites stated on the product page, for the duration stated on the product page, together with updates and email support during that period. You are not buying the Software's source code, the right to redistribute it, or the right to resell it.
5. Abilities and constraints
Each plugin has a published list of abilities ("what it does") and constraints ("what it doesn't do, and when it won't work") in its readme.txt file and on its product page. You are responsible for reading those before purchase. We do not refund purchases on the basis of constraints that were clearly stated at point of sale.
6. Licence and updates
The Software is licensed under GPL v2 or later. You may modify it for your own use. Updates are delivered to active licences via the WordPress admin or via download from your customer dashboard. When your licence period ends, the Software keeps working but you stop receiving updates and support.
7. Support
Support is by email at the address printed in your purchase confirmation. We target a first-response within two UK working days. Support covers: installation help, bug reports against documented features, and clarification of how features work. Support does not cover: theme integration, custom-code requests, third-party plugin conflicts where the third-party plugin overrides WC core behaviour, or troubleshooting of sites that do not meet the vanilla-WooCommerce assumption in section 3.
8. Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund from the date of purchase, no questions asked, provided the licence has not been used to download more than 3 versions of the Software. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion and only granted for material defects that we cannot fix within a reasonable time.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of the Software is capped at the amount you paid for the licence in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption.
10. Acceptable use
You may not use the Software for any unlawful purpose, to evade payment-processor rules, or in any way that brings Digitaljunkys, WooCommerce, WordPress, or our third-party API partners (e.g. Royal Mail) into disrepute.
11. Trademarks
Names of third-party services referenced in our plugins (including but not limited to "Royal Mail", "Click & Drop", "WooCommerce", "WordPress", "Slack", "Discord", "Microsoft Teams") are trademarks of their respective owners. Our plugins are independent third-party integrations and are not endorsed by or affiliated with those service operators unless explicitly stated.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version is always at digitaljunkys.com/terms/. Continued use of the Software after a revision means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be announced via the customer-dashboard email at least 14 days before they take effect.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
